Moscow Accuses West of Splitting Russia
The Secretary of the Russian National Security Council warned of the intention of Western countries to split Russia.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to RT Arabic, Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian National Security Council, stated in a speech: "The West is seriously trying to split Russia into several small countries and dominate them."
He emphasized that the West's attempts to present the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union as occupying and colonial forces are doomed to failure.
Shoigu added that the main mission of the current Moscow government is to strengthen peace between different ethnic groups within the country.
He also emphasized that Russia is a model for interethnic relations, unlike the American "melting pot" that destroys the unique identity of nations.
