Formation of Guerrilla Forces Similar to Vietnam in Venezuela

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro ordered the formation of a militia force for irregular and guerrilla warfare against any US military aggression.

Russia Today reported, citing Venezuelan television, that Maduro ordered the formation of a force of "underground guerrillas against the unbalanced power of the American imperialists" in the style of the Vietnamese in the war with the United States.

Earlier, Maduro, stating that the army has been deployed throughout Venezuela, said that the country's armed forces have been trained for 22 weeks and are at the highest level of readiness to confront any aggression.
