Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Confirmed 3,117 Deaths in Recent Riots in Iran

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, in an official statement, announced the casualty figures of the recent terrorist and armed incidents.

According to information received from the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization, during these incidents, which official authorities have described as reminiscent of the crimes committed by Takfiri and ISIS groups and occurring in the context of the 12-day Imposed War against Iran, a total of 3,117 people lost their lives.

Of this number, 2,427 have been recognized as "martyrs". These martyrs include security personnel (police, Mobilization forces, and IRGC forces) and various groups of ordinary citizens. The statement emphasizes that many of these individuals were innocent passersby who were targeted in indiscriminate shootings and organized terrorist actions; some were also protesters who were shot and killed within crowds.

The statement strongly condemns the savage crimes committed by terrorist elements, including burning bodies, dismembering corpses, beheading victims, and showing no mercy even to the lifeless bodies of the deceased.

The Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs attributes these actions to terrorists affiliated with the Zionist regime, supported, equipped, and armed by the United States and its agents. It declared that the Iranian people will never forget these criminals and their supporters, and they will certainly be held accountable for their actions.
