Survivalist Response to the United Nations' Inaction Against the Zionist Regime's Crimes

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei strongly condemned the brutal airstrikes by the Zionist regime on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 30 people, including two children, and the injury of 149 Lebanese citizens.

Referring to the escalation of the crimes and aggressions of the Zionist regime and the gross and repeated violations of Lebanon’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and the November 2024 ceasefire agreement, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the silence of those claiming the “rule of law” and “human rights” towards the most heinous crimes and gross violations of human rights shameful. He warned that the indifference imposed on the world towards the crimes of the Zionist regime has led this regime to continue its crimes and has put international peace at unprecedented risk.

While condemning the new crimes of the Zionist regime in its attack on Lebanon and offering condolences to the families of the martyrs and the government and people of Lebanon, he emphasized: "The inaction of the United Nations and its Security Council towards the crimes and rebellion of the occupying regime will irreparably discredit the United Nations system and the norms that emerged from it."
