People Can Be Sure That We Will Work Until the Last Drop of Blood
TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a television interview, Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the personality dimensions of Lieutenant General Mousavi, stated: It is really difficult to talk about Lieutenant General Mousavi, because he had a very special and distinguished personality.

He added: Since 1998, and simultaneously with the formation of the Army General Command, we have been working together in various responsibilities; I, as the Deputy Commander of the Army Intelligence, and Lieutenant General Mousavi, as the Commander of the Northeast Army Headquarters in the center of Mashhad, were responsible for the important responsibility of this region.
Referring to the outstanding characteristics of Lieutenant General Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army stated: He had a comprehensive personality; On the one hand, they demonstrated the decisiveness and firmness of their command, especially against enemies, including arrogance, the Zionist regime, and the criminal America, and on the other hand, they had the utmost love and compassion in dealing with their comrades and the people. This combination of authority and kindness is a difficult thing, but Lieutenant General Mousavi had beautifully achieved it in practice.
Major General Hatami continued: If his comrades are asked, they all emphasize the point that Lieutenant General Mousavi was both a decisive and firm commander and a kind and compassionate person. The Supreme Leader of the Revolution has also used the term “true believer” about him.
He noted: While respecting the hierarchy in the armed forces, Lieutenant General Mousavi personally intervened in cases related to the measures of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and followed them carefully. His sincere words addressed to the Iranian people were also clearly evident at various times.
Referring to Lieutenant General Mousavi’s responsibility spirit, the Army Commander-in-Chief said: “In incidents such as floods and earthquakes, he sought to provide the best services to the people with great care and sensitivity. For example, during the flood in Khuzestan, he ordered army boats to transport students who had to take the entrance exam to the exam site. These actions were accompanied by compassion, care, and considerable time.
Major General Hatami added: One of his ongoing programs was to hold meetings related to the livelihood of employees, and he always emphasized that they considered this action a divine work and pleasing to God, while the duty of command also requires it.
Emphasizing the role of faith in the authority of the armed forces, he stated: What gives us confidence in victory and capability is faith and belief; this has deep roots in Islamic Iran, and every year in the decade of Muharram, we witness a huge faith practice. Our main strength is also this faith power.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army continued: “It is the power of faith that can bring an F-5 fighter jet to the heights of the American forces in Kuwait, while they have the most advanced ground and air defense systems, carry out their mission and return with complete peace of mind.”
He added: “It is the power of faith that can confuse the enemy so much that he even mistakenly targets his own aircraft. Otherwise, it is fundamentally incomparable to compare an F-5 with fighters such as the F-35 and F-15.”
Stating that the issue of death has been resolved for our warriors, Major General Hatami said: “We fight for victory, but we also consider martyrdom a great blessing. As Imam Khomeini (AS) said, whether martyrdom or victory, we are victorious in any case.”
He continued: "We assure the dear people of Iran that we will continue this sacred mission with all our might, until the last drop of blood and, God willing, until complete victory is achieved."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army stated: "The armed forces will protect the territorial integrity, independence of the country, and the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran with all their might."
