4 Terrorist Groups Destroyed in the Southeast of Iran
TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a statement, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced the destruction of four Takfiri terrorist groups of the American-Zionist enemy in the southeast of the country.
The text of this statement is as follows:
We inform our esteemed citizens that during a series of coordinated and continuous operations by the Ministry of Intelligence's forces, four terrorist cells of the American-Zionist enemy were identified, and 19 mercenaries of these terrorist-Takfiri networks, who were under the direct guidance of the Zionist enemy intelligence services or groups affiliated with them, were arrested before they could carry out terrorist and sabotage acts.
From the hiding place and safe house of the arrested mercenaries, significant amounts of light and semi-heavy weapons were discovered and confiscated, including one Dushka, two RPG-7s with 7 related missiles, one American M4, 5 Kalashnikovs, 6 Colts, and a large amount of ammunition and cartridges for the aforementioned weapons, two military cameras, a stop and check sign, a mine, and various cold weapons.
Most of the arrested mercenaries were foreign nationals who, after being recruited and joining Takfiri terrorist groups based in neighboring countries and undergoing military and explosive training, entered the country and intended to carry out sabotage, assassination, and other terrorist operations in the southeastern region of the country. With the grace of God and the care of the infallible and pure Ahl al-Bayt (AS), the groups were disintegrated, and the terrorists were arrested before any terrorist act.
