Denial of Direct Contact Between Hezbollah and the US
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to the Al-Ahed news website, Ali al-Miqdad, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese parliament, by categorically rejecting the claim of US President Donald Trump about the existence of direct communication channels with Hezbollah, revealed the new lies of the White House.
He stated in this regard: There is no direct contact with the Americans, either with Trump himself or with any other person, and the exchange of messages is carried out only indirectly and through intermediaries and countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, which are responsible for managing these contacts either with the Beirut government or Nabih Berri, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament.
The revelation came after Trump claimed last week that he had been in direct contact with Hezbollah and the Israeli regime and had obtained their agreement for a ceasefire.
In another part of his speech, Mekdad noted that even the speaker of the Lebanese parliament was shocked by the unilateral agreement announced in Washington, because despite previous coordination through mediators, the speaker of the parliament never expected such an outcome and result from American officials.
