'Trump's presidency is troublesome' Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani made the remark in a meeting with his Mexican counterpart Jorge Carlos Ramirez Marin on the sidelines of IPU on Sunday. He referred to Trump’s comments on building a wall across the US-Mexico border and said Trump utters so many uncanny and unusual things.

Larijani stressed that since his presidency, Trump has caused some disorder in the world. He evaluates every matter from a financial angle and lacks a systematized view toward peace and stability in the world.

The Iranian official also discussed the bilateral relations between Iran and Mexico, calling for an increase in economic cooperation. "Iran will appreciate the contribution of Mexican companies who invest in petroleum, gas and petrochemical industries” he added.

Iran’s Parliament speaker said the extent of economic interactions is insufficient and called for advancement and expansion of cooperation in industrial and business areas.

Mexico’s parliament speaker, for his part, showed willingness to develop further economic ties and said "we have taken some steps in this regard.”

Pointing to the idea of the wall in US-Mexico border, Carlos said "before Trump, there were obstacles in the border between the US and Mexico, but constructing a wall is impossible as it is very costly.”

On Sunday, Larijani also met with his Vietnamese counterpart where he emphasized on Vietnam’s appropriate stance on international issues.

The two sides discussed enhancing bilateral interactions, regarding which Larijani stated that "Vietnam has taken positive steps toward development, and Iran is ready to boost economic and industrial cooperation with Vietnam.”

Vietnam’s parliament speaker, for his part, said "Vietnam attaches great important to its relationships with Iran and as of 2016, our bilateral ties have increased.”
