The army men stormed the ISIL terrorists trapped in a region between the provinces of Hama, Idlib and Aleppo and drove them back from the villages of Artavaziyeh Mokhlef, Mokhlef, Jubb al-Hamlan, Rasm Jubb al-Hamlan, Ein al-Na'ajah, Rasm al-Dab, Rasm al-Dhaba'a, Ma'ar Shamali, Ma'ar Janoubi, Kaviraj, Tal Showeih, Rasm al-Sabal, Abu Ajvah Sharqi, Abu Ajvah Qarbi and al-Jarirah in Northeastern Hama.
Military sources confirmed on Friday that the army freed the villages of Rasm Maz'hi, Jubb al-Heb, Rajm Ja'arah, Makhlaf Shamali, Ein al-Zarqh, al-Shamtaniyah, Shiheh al-Hamrah, al-Mantar and al-Mositabiyeh after heavy fighting against ISIL.
The sources said that 98 percent of the ISIL-held region among the provinces of Hama, Aleppo and Idlib has come under the army's control.
They added that the remaining pockets of the ISIL have retreated towards the villages of al-Shiheh, Anbaz and Sarouj.
