Iran President Congratulates Nepali PM on Appointment
TEHRAN (defapress) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday congratulated Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli on his appointment as Nepal’s prime minister and voiced hope for promotion of all-out ties between the two countries.
In a message released on Saturday, the Iranian president congratulated Oli on the appointment and expressed the hope that, in light of potentials and capacities of the South Asian country and the Islamic Republic, bilateral relations between the two countries would develop more than ever.
“I am confident that with your Excellency’s appointment, Nepal will go faster down the road to peace, stability and sustainable development,” the Iranian president added.
He also wished good health and success for the newly-appointed premier and progress and prosperity for the people of Nepal.
