Putin’s Special Envoy to Syria to meet Iranian officials in Tehran

(Tehran) Defapress:During his visit to Tehran, Lavrentiev will meet with a number of Iranian officials and discuss the latest developments in the Syrian crisis.

Lavrentiev, who is also the head of Russian delegation to the Astana meetings on Syria, will address the issues such as recent airstrikes by the Zionist regime on Syria, threats of the United States to interfere militarily in Syrian affairs and recent summit in Ankara which was held in the presence of the Iranian, Russian and Turkish Presidents.
