Syrian Army Lays Full Siege on ISIL Militants Trapped in Last Positions in Southern DamascusTEHRAN (Defapress)- The army men continued their operation North of Hajar al-Aswad, pushing ISIL terrorists towards a small area of land Northwest of Hajar al-Aswad.

Local sources said that the ISIL has come under siege in an area as large as 1sq/km North of Hajar al-Aswad, adding that the terrorist front in Hajar al-Aswad has collapsed and only several small groups of militants are in the besieged region.

The sources further said that the army is now in operation to hunt the remaining terrorists.

Earlier reports said that the army men engaged in tough battles against ISIL North of Hajar al-Aswad and Southern Yarmouk Camp, driving terrorists out of more areas.

In the meantime, a field source reported that fierce clashes are underway between the army soldiers and terrorists in al-Tazamon neighborhood, near Yarmouk Camp and in a region between Hajar al-Aswad and Yarmouk Camp, adding that almost seventy percent of Yarmouk Camp has come under the army's control.

Meanwhile, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded the remaining positions of the terrorists in Hajar al-Aswad, Yarmouk Camp and al-Tazamon neighborhood.
