Top Commander: Iran's Armed Forces to Give Crushing Respose to Enemies“As it has been repeatedly said, the Iranian nation’s security is a red line for the armed forces,” General Baqeri said on Thursday.

He underlined that the Islamic Republic will not sit idle in the face of security threats.

In relevant remarks earlier this month, Commander of Iran's Army Major General Abdolrahim Moussavi warned that Iran's reciprocal move to any aggression would outweigh enemy's blow.

"We will strike a more powerful and heavier blow in return for any strike by the other side," General Moussavi told reporters in Tehran.

He warned the enemies that Iran's threshold of tolerance is limited and the country's response will grow stronger as it waits longer.

"We can do the strike any time and anywhere," General Moussavi said, warning that Iran's wrath will make aggressors regret their deeds.

Over the past years, Iranian Armed Forces and border guards have engaged in clashes with terror groups, many of whom cross the country’s borders with Pakistan and Iraq to carry out attacks.

In September, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRCG) fired seven missiles at a gathering of terrorist commanders in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, whose affiliates had sought to create insecurity and carry out acts of sabotage in the Iranian provinces of West Azarbaijan, Kordestan and Kermanshah.

In early October, the IRGC rained surface-to surface ballistic missiles from Kermanshah on the strongholds of Daesh Takfiri terror group in eastern Syria.
