Iran's First VP Felicitates Muslims on Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)'s Birthday

In his messages on Saturday, Jahangiri described the Holy Prophet of Islam as the harbinger of love, freedom, equality, brotherhood, mercy and tolerance towards the prosperous life.

He also expressed the hope that “we witness the strengthening of the brotherhood's axes among Muslims of the world, and underlie the spread of peace and stability all over the world, specially in Islamic countries with a clear picture of Islam and the Prophet's approach to the world".

The 17th day of the lunar Islamic month of Rabi al-Awwal marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS) the sixth Imam of Shiites.

On the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Sixth Shiite Imam Sadeq (AS), Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday pardoned and commuted jail terms of a large number of eligible inmates.
