The Chamran 1 satellite was launched into space

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Chamran 1 research satellite was designed and built by Sairan with the cooperation and participation of the Aerospace Research Institute and knowledge enterprises. 

This satellite weighs about 60 kg and its main mission is to test hardware and software systems to prove orbital maneuver technology in height and phase.

The Ghaem 100 lunch vehicle which works with solid fuel, was designed and built by IRGC aerospace experts, was able to put the Chamran 1 satellite into orbit, and successfully complete its second orbital operation.

Hossein Salarieh, the head of ISA (Iranian Space Agency) announced that we have 6 to 8 domestic and foreign satellite launches by the end of 1403, and said that Tolo 3 and Zafar 2 satellites will be launched with foreign launchers in November and December of 2024.
