Don't twist the lion's tail

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Government spokesperson, Fatemeh Mohajerani, said in a press conference: "Iran has never started a war, but it has been very determined to defend its national interests."

She added that in the eight years of sacred defense, Iran has shown that it will never trade its national interests for anything else, and this is announced to all who need to hear: "Don't twist the lion's tail."

Mohajerani continued that what happened in the Tue Promise II operation was only a small part of Iran's capabilities. Iran is fully prepared to respond to any threat and will not hesitate to defend its national interests. 

The Government spokesperson said that as the supreme leader emphasized, Iran is neither hasty nor procrastinate in responding. A suitable answer will be given whenever and wherever necessary. 

She added that the world should know that Iran has never started a war and is always firm and determined in its defense.
