TEHRAN (Defapress) - Abbas Araghchi and Takeshi Iwaya engaged in a 40-minute telephone conversation on Monday, during which they shared their perspectives.
The top Iranian diplomat extended his congratulations to Iwaya on his recent appointment as Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The discussion encompassed the current circumstances in West Asia, particularly the events unfolding in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as various international and bilateral matters.
Both Araghchi and Iwaya reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining an ongoing dialogue between Iranian and Japanese officials.
