Syria set to reopen airspace soon

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Bahaa el-Din Sharm, the minister of transport for the caretaker government, has announced that Syria will soon reopen its airspace to air traffic within the next few hours.

He stated, "We are in the process of preparing civilian airports, and all personnel are undertaking the essential maintenance required for the arrival and departure of aircraft at Syrian airports."

Sharm further indicated that an announcement regarding the reopening of international airports in Damascus and Aleppo will be made in the upcoming days.
