No Retreat, No Compromise; Fight Until Martyrdom

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Imam Hussein (AS), the great defender of God's religion, ensured Islam with his pure blood. How beautifully Imam Khomeini (RA) stated, "It is the months of Muharram and Safar that have kept Islam alive." 

But even more beautiful was the self-sacrificing Basijis who gave life to this statement with their blood and proved in action that the Sacred Defense is a continuation of Ashura. This can be understood from the words of the martyred commander, Behrouz Gholami, who said, "Our path is the path of Imam Hussein (AS); we can neither retreat nor compromise, but rather fight until martyrdom." 

Indeed, this is the way of the guardians of the Islamic Revolution, inspired by the blood-stained path of Hussein ibn Ali (AS).
