Iran's Army Responds to Any Threat With All Its Might

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, head of the Strategic Studies Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, referred to the addition of new drones to the Army's combat organization and stated: Today, one of the operational capacities, along with other defensive and offensive capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, is drone capability.

Brigadier General Pourdastan added: In recent years, with the effective support of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the army has taken great strides in the field of drones and in different classes; in such a way that we have achieved self-sufficiency in various sectors, including wing and body design, engine manufacturing, guidance equipment, navigation, and pilot training.

The head of the Army Strategic Studies Center added: In addition, huge specialized facilities have been considered in the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support Complex for the production of drones at strategic levels, which complements the domestic capabilities of the army. 

He stated: The integration of strategic drones by the Ministry of Defense into the Army Combat Organization, along with other existing operational capabilities, expresses the message that the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a devoted soldier of the system and the people, will never start a war; however, if a threat arises, it will not hesitate for a moment and will use all its operational capabilities, including its extraordinary drone capabilities, to defend the country and confront the threat.
