The statement emphasized that this move is a clear violation of Yemen's national sovereignty and a disregard for the rights of its people. According to Yemen's civil aviation law, any foreign interference in the management of the country's airports is prohibited.
The Ansarullah movement in Yemen stressed that this action poses a direct threat to Yemen's national sovereignty. The Emirati company in question is seeking to alter the identity of the airport.
