New Generation of the "Bavar 373" System Will Be Unveiled Soon

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters (PBUH), in an interview with Defapress correspondent, stated about the capabilities of the armed forces: The armed forces, especially the army's air defense force, are at the peak of their power and are ready to confront any threat.

Regarding the state of Iran's defense systems, Brigadier General Sabahi Fard said: Most of our equipment is completely indigenous and we have upgraded this equipment to suit the threats and even above the level of threats.

He referred to the upgrading of defense systems and stated: "A small part of the capabilities of the armed forces was displayed in the maneuvers, and everyone saw how powerfully the upgraded "Bavar 373" system could fire at targets in the middle of the night." The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters added: "The newer generation of this system will also be unveiled very soon; a system whose capabilities will not be comparable to any defense system in the world."
