The Islamic World Has Closed Its Eyes on the Slaughter of Women and Children in Gaza

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Following the ongoing siege of Gaza by the Zionist regime and the prevention of food supplies to the residents of the strip, the World Food Programme announced that all bakeries in southern Gaza supported by this organization will close today due to the depletion of flour stocks.

On the other hand, the head of the coalition of NGOs in the Gaza Strip stated that there is no flour left for baking bread in the Gaza Strip, and with the exhaustion of existing flour reserves in Gaza, operations in all bakeries have stopped, putting thousands of children at risk of starvation.

In this regard, former Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani today (Tuesday, April 1) referring to the World Food Programme's warning that there is no flour left for baking bread in Gaza, said: "Will the Islamic world still close its eyes to the genocide of Palestinians and the slaughter of women and children in Gaza, and beg the criminal Trump and Netanyahu's partner for a fake peace and ceasefire?!"

He also referred to Israel's attack on Beirut and the martyrdom of "Hassan Badir", a prominent member of Hezbollah, and his son, stating: "The siege and genocide in Gaza and assassinations and bombings in Lebanon continue under the shadow of international inaction." He added: "It seems that the Islamic world is under deadly silence and inactivity, while if every Islamic country pours one bucket of water on the Israeli regime, it would drown."

According to Amnesty International, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, in addition to deliberately targeting civilians and committing crimes against humanity, is accused of committing war crimes and using hunger as a weapon of war in the Gaza Strip.

The Zionist regime, in continuation of its genocide and crimes, has blocked food, fuel, medicine, and other resources for more than 2 million Palestinian residents of Gaza for four weeks.
