US Threats Are Out of Weakness

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, regarding the military threats from the U.S. and the Zionist regime, stated: "The threats by the U.S. against Islamic Iran are not a new issue."

Brigadier General Pourdastan continued: "These threats have existed since the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution, and therefore, we have no fear of them. As the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, we promise our dear and noble Iranian people that their soldiers and Basijis are fully prepared."

The head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Army added: "We monitor all threats in the region and beyond, and accordingly, we develop the necessary defensive and offensive capabilities within ourselves. Therefore, the dear Iranian people can rest assured that if the enemy commits any foolish move, it will face a crushing and regret-inducing response from the armed forces."

He recalled: "In 2001, the Americans also made similar threats with their presence in the region, and at that time, we did not possess such high military power. Yet, the U.S. did not dare to attack us. Today, however, we are far more operationally prepared than in the past."

Brigadier General Pourdastan emphasized that 80 million people back the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and are invincible, adding: "The Americans are well aware that if they attempt any aggression, they will receive a much heavier and more regretful blow."

The head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Army stated that America’s threats stem not from strength and capability but from weakness, saying: "The Iranian nation is a cultured people whose culture is rooted in the historic uprising of Imam Hussein (AS), and they stand firm, even at the cost of their lives, to protect their beliefs and convictions."
