Iran Possesses Special Weapons to Counter the Zionist Regime

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, regarding the statements of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and his threat to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, stated: "In my opinion, Netanyahu has made a baseless statement because the Zionist regime has previously demonstrated, in the matter of 'Operation True Promise 1 and 2,' that it lacks the courage and capability to take actual action against Iran."

He added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran not only has the capability but also the will to strike and inflict serious damage on the Zionist regime. What happened in Operation True Promise was merely a warning and a preliminary action. Our capabilities go far beyond what was seen in those operations, and the Zionist officials are well aware of this reality."

Rezaei, referring to the experiences gained from previous confrontations with the Zionist regime, emphasized: "We have gained valuable experience from past operations, which have now become part of the country's defensive and offensive capabilities. The Islamic Republic of Iran not only possesses special weapons to counter the threats of the Zionist regime but also has complete awareness of the vital points and sensitive centers of the occupied territories."

He continued: "If the decision to respond is made at the highest level of the country, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will deliver a severe, decisive, and irreversible response to the Zionist regime in the shortest possible time."

The spokesperson of the National Security Committee of the Parliament noted: "Netanyahu's threats are nothing but political bluffing, and we have seen such threats before. These threats have not only failed to hinder Iran's nuclear progress but, in recent years, our nuclear advancement has accelerated, reaching 60% enrichment today."

He also pointed to the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the regional security equations, adding: "Today, Iran is not only an influential player but a decisive power in the West Asia region, and any reckless action by the Zionist regime could have heavy consequences not only for this regime but also for its supporters. We are not in a position to merely react; rather, we have the capability to design and implement preemptive and deterrent responses."

Rezaei concluded by stressing: "If the Zionist regime truly had the operational capability and courage to act against Iran, it would have done so by now. However, their inability in practice reflects their strategic weakness and serious limitations in the face of the Islamic Republic of Iran's deterrent power."
