We Want to Reduce Tensions Between India and Pakistan

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Seyed Abbas Araqchi, our country's Foreign Minister, said in a speech to reporters upon his arrival in Pakistan: During this trip, we will have close consultations with friends in Pakistan and I am scheduled to meet with the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, and regional issues will be reviewed.

Referring to the recent tension between India and Pakistan, Iran's Foreign Minister added: We want to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan.

During this trip, Araqchi will meet with high-ranking Pakistani officials and consult and exchange views on bilateral issues, including economic and trade cooperation, border security, as well as regional and international developments.
