TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, "Sayyed Reza Sadr Al-Husseini," an expert on West Asian affairs, commented on Yemen’s successful surprise missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport in the Zionist regime, stating: "It appears that the U.S. and Britain have reached a strategic deadlock in dealing with the defensive actions of Yemen’s National Army." This comes as nearly 600 airstrikes by these two countries have targeted various military and civilian locations in Yemen.

U.S. and Britain Have Reached a Deadlock Against Yemen

Sadr Al-Husseini noted that Yemen’s missile capabilities have disrupted U.S. and British control over Yemeni territory. He said: "Today, Yemen has struck at the backbone of the Zionist regime in support of the oppressed yet resilient people of Gaza. However, the aforementioned two countries, in an attempt to prevent further economic weakening of the Zionist regime, have entered into a costly war with Yemen, only to find themselves trapped in the quagmire they created."

The West Asia expert emphasized that the Yemeni people are even more motivated to support Gaza, adding: "Supporting the oppressed and steadfast people of Gaza is not the only objective of Yemen’s Army; they have also added avenging their own innocent and oppressed civilians to their defensive measures."

He further pointed out: "In recent weeks, reports emerged of a U.S.-backed attack, but after two weeks—amid full intelligence awareness by Yemen’s National Army and millions of Yemenis rallying in support of Gaza while condemning the U.S. and the Zionist regime—this issue has also been cast into doubt."

Sadr Al-Husseini added: "U.S.-affiliated media devoted significant coverage to the prospect of a ground invasion by mercenaries supported by Washington into Yemeni territories controlled by the National Salvation Government. However, this narrative, intended as psychological warfare, has instead fostered greater unity among the Yemeni people."

He stated: "Despite the silence of international bodies and Arab leaders regarding the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime and the attacks on Yemen’s civilian areas, the situation has led the Yemeni people to once again demonstrate their astonishing capabilities, this time against a segment of NATO, namely the U.S. and Britain, just as they heroically resisted the Saudi-led coalition in the past."

In another part of his remarks, Sadr Al-Husseini stressed: "Based on our information, despite the presence of various U.S. reconnaissance drones, advanced air defenses, and fighter jets on aircraft carriers in the region, all deployed against the Yemeni people, the National Army has retaliated against American forces shortly after each operation that resulted in the martyrdom of innocent Yemeni civilians."

Regarding Yemen’s missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, he added: "Just yesterday, we witnessed another bold operation by Yemen’s National Army against massive U.S. aircraft carriers. While opponents of the Trump administration report varying numbers of downed American drones, what truly exposed the U.S. military’s weakness was the downing of an F-18 fighter jet in recent days. The aircraft carrier, fearing further damage, was forced to change course, leaving the F-18 unable to land and ultimately crashing into the sea."

In conclusion, the West Asia expert said: "Today, it can be said that a tribal army with conventional weapons has managed to ground the world’s most aggressive military, the U.S. Army, despite its countless air and naval capabilities. This fact has further strengthened the Yemeni people’s resolve to support their National Army and their elected government."
