TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, who had traveled to Doha to participate in the fourth Iran-Arab World Dialogue, met and held talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, on Saturday evening.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop relations between the two countries in areas of interest.
The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Qatar also reviewed the latest regional developments, especially the humanitarian disaster in Gaza following the 2-years genocide by the Zionist regime and its prevention of sending food and medical aid to this barrack, and stressed the importance of greater cooperation between the countries of the region to stop the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people.
During this meeting, Iran's Foreign Minister briefed his Qatari counterpart on developments related to the process of indirect Iran-US talks.
