TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that elements affiliated with the Jolani regime are preventing foreign media teams, including the Associated Press, from entering the province of Suwayda in the south of the country, as well as humanitarian aid.
The report states that the Jolani regime’s Ministry of Security checkpoint in the Basra al-Sham area is preventing these people and cargo from entering Suwayda province.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that Suwayda province has been under a severe siege for more than a week and needs food, drinking water, and fuel. Civil society activists and domestic institutions also called on the international community to take immediate action to send humanitarian aid to the region.
Suwayda province witnessed bloody clashes for several days between tribesmen, Druze forces, and terrorist elements affiliated with the Jolani regime.
