TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Masirah, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Zionist regime's attack on the "Government of Change and Construction" and its members in letters to the United Nations, the Security Council, the European Union, and other international institutions.
In these letters, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that last week's cowardly and treacherous attack by Israel targeted the president and members of this government.
The statement continued by saying that the international community's silence against this act has encouraged Israel to escalate dangerous tensions in the region.
The ministry called on the international community to force the Zionist regime to comply with international law and end its policy of impunity.
It also emphasized Yemen's consistent position in supporting the people of Gaza, and noted that after the international community's inability to stop the genocide in Gaza, this position of the Sanaa government is in line with international law.
Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded by announcing that the country's Government of Change and Reconstruction will continue to carry out its duties within the framework of current affairs and provide services to the Yemeni people.
The Zionist regime targeted Sanaa on Thursday, during which "Ahmad Ghalib Nasser Al-Rahwi", the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Reconstruction, along with several ministers accompanying him, were martyred.
Following this action, the Political Bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement issued a statement calling this action a "war crime and cowardly Zionist aggression" and emphasizing: "Dark days await the Zionist regime and the occupiers, and the blood of Yemeni martyrs will never go unanswered."
