Iran Stands with Muslims in Confronting the Scourge Threatening the Region

TEHRAN (Defapress) - On Monday, in a message on his X account, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while announcing support for the Muslims of the region, emphasized that Iran stands with Muslim nations in the face of the threat that has put the entire region at risk..

Araghchi, who traveled to Qatar to attend an emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic countries on the Israeli regime’s air aggression against Qatar, wrote in this message: “I am in Doha with a clear message from the Iranian people: Iran stands with Qatar and, in fact, with all Muslim brothers and sisters, especially in confronting the scourge that threatens the entire region.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister also met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, yesterday. While emphasizing Iran's principled and firm stance in strongly condemning the Zionist regime's military aggression against the country, he stressed the need for effective and collective action by the Islamic world to confront this regime's warmongering against Islamic countries, stop the genocide in Gaza, and try and punish the leaders of the occupying regime.

Last Tuesday, the Zionist regime targeted a building in Doha with an airstrike in an attempt to assassinate Hamas leaders. Five people were martyred in this aggression, but the operation to assassinate the leaders of this movement failed.

This action has been widely condemned internationally.
