TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, in a friendly meeting with students of AJA Command & Staff University held today (Sunday) on the occasion of Student Day at the Velayat Command and Management Faculty and Research Institute of the IRGC, expressed his pleasure at being among the students of the AJA Command & Staff University. He described the educational and research centers of the armed forces as gathering places for training young commanders and officers to assume important and impactful responsibilities in the future. He stated: These students are considered the future builders of the armed forces, and professors must use modern and up-to-date planning and research for teaching students so that the armed forces do not fall behind the world's advanced technologies.

Necessity of Transferring the Experiences of the Sacred Defense and Regional Resistance to the New Generation

Major General Mousavi, noting that today the armed forces are in a state of complete informational and operational readiness, said: Revolutionary youth in the armed forces, with high morale and good thinking, and through faith in God and acquiring up-to-date science, expertise, and knowledge, have been able to achieve great progress in various sectors of the armed forces.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized the necessity for students and future commanders and managers of the IRGC to pay attention to the strategic components and propositions ahead of them for playing a role in the field of assigned missions. He highlighted the importance of linking science and faith, and scientific and technological jihad, adding: Combining modern knowledge with divine faith is the main pillar of the armed forces' strength, and this path must be pursued as a strategic model in all educational centers. Furthermore, the necessity of utilizing modern technologies, strategic research, and artificial intelligence is part of the scientific jihad of the armed forces that should not be neglected.

He considered national cohesion and creating hope as other strategic and emphasized propositions ahead of the students, saying: The role of students in producing hopeful narratives and strengthening national cohesion is on par with their operational missions.

Major General Mousavi described the training of future commanders as among the strategic priorities of AJA Command & Staff University, noting: The AJA Command & Staff University students are not only future officers but will be the strategic architects of national security and must be trained with a systemic and multi-dimensional perspective.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, referring to developments in the fields of hybrid and cognitive warfare, stated that preparedness for modern wars is a strategic necessity. He called on students to study and practice new defense scenarios so that the armed forces possess preemptive action capabilities against any threat.

He further described engagement with the country's scientific community as a guarantor for advancing programs and meeting the needs of the country's military and defense organizations and systems, saying: The necessity of interaction between military educational centers and national universities and research institutes has always been emphasized by the General Staff of the Armed Forces so that the flow of knowledge and innovation synergistically serves national strength.

Major General Mousavi described preserving heritage and transferring experience as another important strategic proposition and reminded: The experiences of the Sacred Defense and regional resistance must be transferred to the new generation as a strategic asset to establish a link between the past and the future on the path of excellence.
