TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Abolfazl Shekarchi,  Deputy of Cultural and Soft War of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces, speaking today (Monday) at the Congress of Martyrs of the Guilds and Bazaar, while honoring the memory of the martyrs of Islam, the Islamic Revolution, the Sacred Defense, the Shrine Defenders, the martyrs of security, and the 11,000 esteemed martyrs of the guilds and bazaar, stated: "From the beginning of the Islamic movement until now, the guilds and bazaar merchants have not only been alongside the revolution, but have been its vanguard and standard-bearers."

If the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Is Attacked, We Will Set Trump's World on Fire

Referring to the history of early Islam, he stated: "In Medina, three factions, the hypocrites, the ruffians and thugs, and the rumor-mongers, united to overthrow Islam, bringing all their power to bear. Today, history has repeated itself, and the entire world of disbelief, hypocrisy, and global arrogance has gathered in one front to confront the Islamic Revolution and the pure Islam of Muhammad (PBUH)."

Brigadier General Shekarchi, stating that the Islamic Revolution is the continuation of the rule of the Prophet (PBUH), added: "Since June 1963 and the beginning of Imam Khomeini's movement, the guilds and bazaar merchants have been present on the scene not as followers, but as pioneers, and this vanguard role continues to this day."

The Deputy of Cultural and Soft War of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, referring to the high status of the sacrifices of the guilds and bazaar merchants, said: " God in the Quran places wealth and life side by side, and the guilds and bazaar merchants have stood at the peak of sacrifice in both fields. Presenting 11,000 martyrs, thousands of wounded veterans and sacrificers, is not just a number; it represents the pinnacle of sacrifice of this faithful and revolutionary people."

He emphasized: "If the guilds and bazaar merchants had not been present during the Sacred Defense era, providing water, food, transporting the wounded, and logistical support for the Iran’s forces would have faced serious problems, and many wounded would not have reached medical centers. They provided whatever the combatants needed, and in addition, placed their own lives on the platter of sincerity."

Brigadier General Shekarchi, emphasized the insight and punctuality of guilds and markets and said: "In the field of insight, punctuality, and obedience to the Supreme Leader, guilds and marketers have always been at the top, and for this reason, holding this congress is a very valuable and special initiative."

Referring to the recent 12-day war and the enemy's designed scenarios, he added: "One of the enemy's plans was that simultaneously with the Zionist regime's military aggression led by America, the country's bazaar would become turbulent and chaos would ensue; but not only was the enemy defeated in this war, but the guilds and bazaar merchants, with their vigilance, neutralized the enemy's plot and delivered a strong slap to their face."

The Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces continued: "The enemy tried to use the people to strike the country, and even on January 8, it entered the arena concentrating its forces, but the guilds and bazaar merchants, as soon as they understood the enemy's intention, without even a minute's delay, through their smart actions, kept the country on the path of stability and security and injected hope into society."

Referring to the role of art and culture in the continuation of the Islamic Revolution, he noted: "The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has repeatedly emphasized the importance of the language of art in confronting the enemy's soft and cognitive war, and today, poets, intellectuals, and culture-makers are the main commanders of this field."

Brigadier General Shekarchi reacted to Trump's threats, emphasizing that the enemy is aware of the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and stressed: "We attach no importance to these clamors and rhetorics of Trump; he knows well that if a hand of aggression is extended towards the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, not only will we decisively and bravely cut off that hand, but the response of the Islamic Republic will be the burning of their world; in such a way that no safe zone will remain for the enemy. The enemies, through psychological operations, cognitive war, and media war, seek to create fear and anxiety, but they themselves know well that if the slightest aggression against the soil of the Islamic Republic of Iran occurs, before that aggression expands, they will receive a decisive and deterrent response; an issue proven many times in practice, and in the 12-day imposed war, it was also clearly shown that the Zionist regime must pay for years for the heavy damages and losses it suffered in this war."

The Deputy of Cultural and Soft War of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, concluding by emphasizing that the main threat today is not a military one, said: "The main danger is soft and cognitive war; a war whose goal is the occupation of minds. If territory is occupied, we will take it back, but if minds are occupied, taking them back is very difficult and sometimes impossible. In this field, the role of the people, guilds, bazaar merchants, and cultural activists is a decisive and fate-determining one."
