Threats Will Face more Crushing and Broader Response

TEHRAN (Defapress) - On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the General Staff of the Armed Forces issued a statement, while honoring the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, especially the martyrs of the recent terrorist acts, and emphasized the continuation of the path of Resistance and steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the system of global domination and arrogance.

In this statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces described the Islamic Revolution of Iran as the "phenomenon of the century" and the fruit of the faith, awareness, and will of the Iranian nation, and it is stated: This revolution, led by Imam Khomeini (RA), was able to dismantle the Pahlavi regime, which was the implementer of the desires of America and the West, and brought independence and national dignity to the country.

Referring to the continuous hostilities of the ruling regime after the victory of the revolution, the General Staff of the Armed Forces has named terror, sanctions, threats and warmongering as the enemies’ failed tools and emphasized that the Iranian nation, relying on the wise leadership of the late Imam (RA) and the Supreme Leader, and with steadfastness and insight, has thwarted all these conspiracies.

The statement continued: Despite the passage of 47 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the increasing pressure from the United States and the Zionist regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran today is more powerful than ever in the scientific, defense, technological, and social fields and has become a symbol of independence and self-confidence.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces also emphasized the complete readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to confront any threat and excesses, and stated that the Iranian nation, relying on divine faith, wise leadership, and the power of the people's armed forces, will never retreat from the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and will stand firm and confront threats with a more crushing and widespread response.

At the end of this statement, the Iranian nation has been invited to once again demonstrate their support for the Islamic Revolution by participating in the nationwide rally on Bahman 22 (February, 11), and to discourage the enemies, especially the United States and the Zionist regime, from continuing their plots against the Iranian nation.
