Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and a Group of Members of the Supreme Defense Council Have Been Martyred

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense and Resistance Works and Values announced, in a statement, the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Martyr Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi and a number of members of the Supreme Defense Council.

While expressing condolences for the martyrdom of our unwavering leader, the courageous, insightful, and tireless warrior of Iran and the Islamic world, His Excellency Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (may God's peace be upon him), a group of brave and valiant commanders of the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces were martyred yesterday in a ruthless attack by the most cruel regimes, criminals, and corrupters of the world, the criminal American and Zionist regimes.

These martyrs, among others, answered the call of duty during a Defense Council meeting and joined their martyred comrades.

Undoubtedly, the noble and great Iranian nation, by relying on God Almighty and the guidance of the Imam Zaman (may God hasten his return), will remain steadfast, foil all the plots of our sworn enemies, and, with victory and authority, pass through this pivotal moment in history.
