TEHRAN (Defapress) - The American network reported that the passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz has been suspended due to the military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Shipping in the Strait of Hormuz Has Been Suspended

Bloomberg said today (Friday) based on data from the Joint Maritime Information Center that no oil tankers have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours and only 2 cargo ships have passed through it.

Stating that the escalation of the conflict has caused dozens of oil and gas vessels to be stranded in the Persian Gulf, Bloomberg added: "Repeated attacks on ships make the passage through this strait very dangerous for vessels carrying valuable cargo."

The Joint Maritime Information Center says that this situation is further complicated by the disruption of GPS signals that disrupt navigation and communications in the region.
