Ammar Al-Hakim's Positions in the Meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Region
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim, the leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, hosted Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, in his office in Baghdad.

In this meeting, while welcoming Barzani, Ammar Al-Hakim emphasized the importance of mutual visits between the federal government and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, considering the effect it has in reducing differences, increasing commonalities, and moving towards comprehensive solutions.
Al-Hakim, while noting that Iraq has taken an important step in ending the political deadlock in the country, at the same time as the events in the region and the escalation of military tension there, emphasized the need for efforts by all parties to lead Iraq towards reconstruction, construction, and sustainable development.
He reiterated his support for Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, who is tasked with forming a new Iraqi government, and called for the formation of a government representing all segments of Iraq that is service-oriented and carries out economic reforms.
The leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement emphasized the need to end the current conflict in the region, completely halt the war, and establish stability, and placed the responsibility for achieving this goal on the shoulders of the countries of the region and the world.
In this meeting, Al-Hakim emphasized the importance of Iraq welcoming its regional and international environment and softening the atmosphere with everyone, and called for utilizing all available capacities to establish relations based on common interests and preserve the country's sovereignty.
