All of Our Air Defense Systems Are Domestic
TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Brigadier General Alireza Elhami, Commander of the Army Air Defense Force and the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Joint Air Defense Base, explained the upgrading of the force's readiness after the ceasefire in the Third Imposed War: Today, in the air defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, everything we have in terms of equipment, systems, tactics, command and control centers, communication infrastructures, and intelligence departments is completely Iranian.

Emphasizing that these achievements were prepared based on 100% domestic knowledge and using the power of the men and scientists of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Elhami added: "There may be problems or weaknesses, but the scientists and experts of the Army's Air Defense, in close and continuous cooperation with the country's scientific and research centers, have made every effort to meet the needs."
Referring to the measures taken to rebuild the country's defense capability, the Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Joint Air Defense Base noted: "Our entire effort is to prepare and update systems and equipment in line with current threats, and to replace the equipment that was hit by the criminal enemy during the 'Third Imposed War' as soon as possible."
He considered the key to the dynamism of the air defense force to be reliance on domestic capabilities and clarified: "When all equipment is indigenous, its upgrading and updating is completely at our disposal, and we update the equipment in line with the needs." In this way, its mass production will also be in our hands, and in fact, we do not need anyone.
In conclusion, the Commander of the Army Air Defense Force, expressing his gratitude to knowledge-based companies, emphasized: Today, all our efforts are aimed at updating our equipment in line with threats and bringing it to mass production with the help of scientific and research centers.
