Revenge for the Martyred Leader Is the Defense of National Security

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mirahmadi analyzed various aspects of this issue regarding the revenge for the pure blood of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He described it as more than a personal issue. Referring to the emotional dimensions of this great crime, he stated: The general feelings of the Iranian people, the Islamic world, especially the Shiites, and all freedom-seeking people in the world are based on the fact that revenge must be taken in response to such a great crime and the criminals must be punished.

Brigadier General Mirahmadi, explaining the Quranic aspect of the revenge for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said: God Almighty commands that if someone commits injustice, crime, and murder, he must be punished in accordance with the crime he committed; therefore, the perpetrators and commanders of this great crime must be punished in the same way as they acted, according to the Quranic order. The message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution also stated that the free people of the world will deprive them of their peaceful sleep and will not let these criminals die a peaceful death in their beds. This is a divine promise and will definitely be fulfilled.

The Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, referring to the adverse effects of such crimes, continued: If we do not show an appropriate response to these criminal acts, the shadow of terror and threat will always remain over our country; unless the enemies understand that reciprocity and confrontation will take place; therefore, the threat will only be removed from the country when they feel a serious danger in a genuine sense, not a slogan, and see this will in action.

Emphasizing that the issue of revenge is defending the national security and territorial integrity of the country, he stated: Unfortunately, some who knowingly or unknowingly repeat the words of the enemies are trying to give this issue a personal aspect, while the martyred Leader of the Revolution was one of the dearest, purest and most righteous bondmens of God on earth in his position, but the issue of revenge and bloodlust is not simply a personal matter, but a national issue and belongs to the Islamic nation.

Referring to the recent statements of Ayatollah Seyed Mustafa Khamenei, the eldest son of the martyred leader of the revolution, Sardar Mirahmadi noted: He emphasized the need for patience in this regard. Patience means standing firm and insisting on this right; but in any case, this issue will be realized in its own time, God willing, and this divine promise is certain.
