Any Aggression Against Iran Will Be Met with a Devastating Response
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Referring to the latest developments in the region and the recent threats of the Trump administration against the Iran's infrastructure, Esmail Kowsari, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated: The current approach of the United States in the form of threats to target the country's vital infrastructure is nothing but "psychological warfare" to pressure the will of the Iranian people.
Referring to the broader dimensions of the recent confrontations, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament considered this procedure part of the scenario of a third imposed war and stated: At this stage, the US, by using all its military and political power, tried to bring the Islamic Republic system to its knees to overthrow it. In this direction, the enemy first sought to create a strategic shock by assassinating the regime's leadership and then targeting military and missile centers, but after failing to achieve these goals, it was forced to try to achieve a ceasefire through mediators.
Referring to Washington's breach of promises, he stated: The signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and its successive violation by the United States once again proved to the world that this regime does not commit to treaties and that breach of promises is an inseparable part of American foreign policy.
Analyzing the enemy's recent reactions to the epic presence of the people at the funeral of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Kowsari added: The magnificent funeral of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution with the presence of millions of people in Iran and the Islamic world, especially in Iraq, sent shivers down the spines of the Americans. The enemy, who was terrified by this amount of steadfastness, tried to use the opportunity of the ceremony to violate the ceasefire and open the Strait of Hormuz, but was once again defeated by the vigilance and readiness of the defending forces.
The member of parliament, in response to Trump's threats to attack Iran's infrastructure, citing the firm stance and warning of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) to the United States and its allies in the region, said: We have clearly declared that any aggression against Iranian soil will result in a multi-fold and devastating response. This reciprocal response will not only be directed at the United States, but all countries that have allowed their soil to host US military bases will be targeted to destroy their infrastructure.
In this regard, he added: The fire of this confrontation will engulf every country that has entrusted its security to the United States, because it has been proven that the United States is not only not a guarantor of security, but is also the main cause of insecurity in the region.
A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament emphasized: Iran's firm and deterrent approach caused the US President to retreat from his harsh positions and retract his words. Over the past 48 years, the Islamic Republic has had countless experiences in confronting conspiracies, and the enemy has tried to overthrow the regime every time, but has failed against the rock of people's faith.
Referring to the decline of the United States' power in the region, Kowsari stated: America directly entered the war with Iran in the Third Imposed War, and we put it in its place with decisive action.
This representative of the people in parliament concluded by emphasizing the need to maintain unity against the enemy and stated: Today, it is essential that the people, who instilled despair into the hearts of the enemy by being present in the field for 154 nights, continue to maintain this steadfastness until the final victory is achieved and America is completely expelled from the West Asian region.
