Old American Order in West Asia Has Collapsed
TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in his speech during today's open session of parliament, emphasized the safeguarding of the Iranian nation's rights, declaring that no window of opportunity will exist to return to previous negotiation conditions or to reopen the Strait of Hormuz until Iran's terms are met, the rights of the Iranian people are recognized, and American commitments are implemented.
Referring to the transmission of messages and the clarification of Iran's conditions through mediators, he asserted that the path of deception and one-sided imposition by the enemy is completely blocked.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf identified the nation's core strategy in confronting threats as a synthesis of rational military readiness and diplomacy, stating that the dichotomy of "war or negotiation" is unreal; rather, the underlying principle rests on "fighting powerful warfare and negotiating smartly."
Accordingly, the Armed Forces will deliver lethal blows to the enemy with full military capability when necessary, after which the diplomatic apparatus will consolidate these field advantages at the height of operational strength to inflict defeat upon the enemy and elevate the nation's deterrence capacity to its peak.
In another part of his address marking Sacred Defense Week and its alignment with the start of the academic year, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly described classrooms and educational centers as the new pillar of national deterrence. Highlighting popular resilience as the driving force of self-reliance from the 1980s to the present day, he emphasized that the uninterrupted vitality of schools and universities demonstrates the strategic failure of adversaries seeking to project a state of suspension and stagnation over the country.
Concluding his remarks by pointing to the collapse of the legacy American order in West Asia, Ghalibaf underscored the essential role of regional Islamic nations in shaping a new regional architecture, asserting that the nation's future trajectory will be forged through courage, rationality, and reliance on the younger generation, rather than supplication.
