Consequence of Regional Insecurity Affects All Countries
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, at the first National Iranian Soldier Festival held this morning (Sunday) at Imam Ali University, referring to the sensitive conditions in the region and the imposed war, said: "The war is not over. We have won, but we must consolidate this victory."
Emphasizing that the aggressor enemy has received heavy blows but that Iranian soldiers must still be prepared to deliver heavy blows, he added: "Iran is not a place for the excessive demands and domination of enemies. We have said many times that if the region is insecure, this insecurity will affect everyone."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army also, referring to the enemy's miscalculations during the recent war, stated: "The enemy thought that if it martyred our dear Leader and our commanders, the country would collapse; but it was mistaken. The Iranian nation brought the enemy's sedition project to defeat and supported the officials."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army further, criticizing America's policies in the region, noted: "Security in the region will not be achieved except by eliminating America and the Zionist regime from the region, and this is not far off; this will happen, God willing."
Addressing the countries of the region, he also said: "You have seen that cooperation with America does not bring security. Security in the region lies within the region and in the hands of the countries of the region themselves, and it will be so."
Major General Hatami, in conclusion, emphasizing that "the Strait of Hormuz is the strait of our honor and dignity," stated: "If Iran cannot trade, if Iran cannot live, no one can trade and live. The enemies of the country will not be allowed to use this great logistical chokepoint while the Iranian nation is deprived."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army noted: "Iran is not a place for the excessive demands and domination of enemies, and we have said many times that if the region is insecure, this insecurity will affect everyone. We can't live in a region we've owned for many years and yet be deprived of all stages, while others come from elsewhere, from faraway routes, and take advantage of all these things. Let them be assured that this dream will not come true."
