TEHRAN (Defapress)- The Turkish General Command announced that at least 4,403 ‘terrorists’ have been killed or held captive since the start of Operation Olive Branch in Northwestern Aleppo in Northern Syria on January 20th.
The Turkish officials have held meetings with Eastern Ghouta terrorists who have been relocated to Northern Syria to take charge in Afrin.
The London-based pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported last week that the Turkish officials held several meetings with commanders of the Al-Nusra-affiliated Faylaq al-Rahman on Afrin region in the past 10 days to hand over the police command of the region to Faylaq al-Rahman militants.
It noted that the Turkish officials accurate intelligence about those who entered Afrin, specially from Eastern Ghouta.
This was while Ankara sent over 700 family members of Faylaq al-Rahman together with tens of their commanders who had left Eastern Ghouta to settle in Afrin after. The Ankara's move came after it forced hundreds of civilians to leave Afrin.
