Senior cleric: Enemies of Islam not trustworhtyTEHRAN (Defaress)-The US President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced his decision on pulling out from the nuclear deal with Iran

The lesson is that the enemies of the religion (Islam) are not trustworthy, Ahmad Khatami said in his sermons before the Friday Prayers.

'We should be careful for future deals and be sure that the enemies are all the same,' the senior cleric said.

'Some people say, the US no, but the European Union, yes,' this does not conform to the lesson.

The nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was signed by Iran and the major world powers in 2015. Under the deal Iran agreed to curb its nuclear program in exchange for economic sanctions relief.
