The Syrian army troops on Thursday targeted with artillery and missile fire a group of Kata'eb al-Izza terrorists who planned to infiltrate into the army bases near the town of Zalin, killing a number of militants and destroying their military equipment and weapons. The remnants of terrorists were forced to flee the scene.
Other units of the Syrian army also launched artillery fire against Kata'eb al-Izza terrorists moving from the village of Shaliyout towards army positions near Mahradah in Northern Hama, inflicting heavy tolls on them and repulsing their offensive.
They also targeted Tahrir al-Sham's positions and moves in Jorjanaz, al-Tah, al-Khuwain and al-Habit in Southeastern Idlib, inflicting heavy damage on them.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Hama-Idlib
The Syrian army fended off attacks by Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at and allied terrorists in demilitarized zone in Northern Syria against the military regions in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib, smashing their strongholds.

The Kurdish forces in a statement claimed Ankara attempts to support the ISIL, calling on the US-led coalition, the international community, specially the UN, and the NATO members to voice opposition to Ankara's aggressive plans.
Deir Ezzur
All members of a Syrian family were killed in a bombing raid by the US-led coalition fighter jets in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
The Arabic-language al-Manar news channel reported on Wednesday that the US warplanes bombed the village of Kashmeh in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, killing 15 members of a family.
According to other reports, a large number of civilians who were continuously targeted by the US fighters in al-Sha'afah region had sheltered in al-Kashmeh.
Airstrikes by the US-led coalition warplanes have killed many civilians in Deir Ezzur under the pretext of fighting against the terrorists.
Aleppo
The Ankara-backed fighters have been put on alert after three consecutive blasts in the Turkey-occupied regions in Aleppo and their infighting killed and wounded tens of people.
Field sources in Northern Aleppo reported on Wednesday afternoon that a bomb-laden car exploded near al-Ahli hospital in the town of A'azaz in Northwestern Aleppo, killing and wounding nearly 30 people, including civilians and Ankara-backed militants and destroying properties.
They added that immediately after the blast, two other explosions also rocked the town of al-Ra'ei in Northern Aleppo and Kabir mosque in the Center of the town of al-Bab in Northeastern Aleppo, killing a number of people and injuring at least 20 other civilians and militants.
