Force evacuation of Gazans from southern Khan Younis areas

TEHRAN (defapress) - The IOF told Palestinians to temporarily evacuate southern neighborhoods of Gaza's Khan Younis region so it could "forcefully operate" there, telling them to relocate to a humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi, a statement from the military said on Saturday.

The UN’s humanitarian aid agency says hundreds of Palestinians remain trapped in eastern Khan Younis “amid intense hostilities” and rescue teams are “unable to reach them due to the denial of access by the Israeli military”.

The fighting, more than nine months since the start of Israel's invasion of Gaza, underlined the difficulty the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has in facing Palestinian Islamic resistance.
