US concern about Tehran's retaliatory response

TEHRAN (Defapress) – The Iraqi analyst, Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim, stated that the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will not go without a response from the Iranian side to Israel and the Iranian response will be at the same level or more.

The expert on West Asian issues further pointed out that various diplomatic contacts are being established with Tehran and continued that if Iran does not give a direct answer to Israel, this will cause the expansion of Israel's terrorist operations in Iran.

"Haniyeh's assassination in Tehran was not ordinary, but the place of assassination is more important than the assassination itself. According to Israeli media, Netanyahu had opposed the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Qatar four times before he agreed to assassinate Haniyeh in Iran because he considered it a heavy blow to Iran" he clarified.

Al-Hakim said: I believe that Iran's response will be deep in Israel, a response that can be described as the second version of the True Promise Operation, and this attack may result in a more painful blow to the occupying regime.

Al-Hakim added that regional, Arab, and Islamic nations, as well as international countries, through mediators are conducting a campaign of intense pressure on Tehran so that it does not respond beyond the limit. Iran even receives these messages from friend countries and the ones that have good relations with Tehran and Washington

He continued: Americans are trying through intermediaries to limit Iran's tough response, which may bring the region into an all-out war and endanger all the interests of the region, especially the interests of the United States.

The expert on West Asian issues considered the New York Times report about the assassination of Haniyeh to be incorrect and added that the assassination was carried out by firing a projectile at the residence of martyr Haniyeh. Now the question is whether this projectile was fired from inside or outside of Iran. The answer will be clear in the coming days.
