US is the main weapon supplier of the Israel against Gaza and Lebanon

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, considers the imposition of new sanctions by the United States in relation to Iran's energy sector, which has been imposed under the pretext of reacting against the defense action of the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces against the military targets of the Zionist regime. He strongly condemned it as an illegal and unjustified action. 

Baghaei by describing Iran's missile operation against the Zionist regime as a legal action and in accordance with international law in line with the exercise of the inherent right of legitimate defense, described America's action in imposing sanctions against several companies and ships that, according to US claims, are involved in the transfer of Iranian oil products, as lacking any legal or logical basis and considered it a form of 'extortion' against the rogue Israeli regime.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded the destructive and negative role of America in the security and stability of the West Asian region and noted: America, as the most important political supporter and the main supplier of weapons used by the Zionist regime in the Gaza genocide and aggression against Lebanon, is considered a partner and accomplice of this regime in committing the most severe international crimes.The imposition of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran under the guise of supporting the Zionist regime, besides creating the international responsibility of the US government, will cause the occupation regime to become bolder and continue killing innocents and threaten the peace and security of the region and the world from this regime. 

Emphasizing Iran's right to respond appropriately to the US sanctions, Baghaei stated that the US US regime's addiction to the policy of threats and maximum pressure against the Iranian nation has no effect on the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, national interests and its citizens, in front of any aggression and foreign attacks.
