Syrian Foreign Minister is going to visit Tehran

TEHRAN (Defapress) - On his first trip to Tehran, Syria's new Foreign Minister Bassam Al-Sabbagh will meet and discuss with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and other Iranian officials.

During the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Syria, Araqchi and Sabbagh recently met and discussed in Damascus (September 26).

Araghchi also met with Syria's President and Prime Minister during that trip.

The 2 foreign ministers had previously met in New York on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly and discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
