Zionists will be buried in Syria

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, talked about the situation in Syria at the closing ceremony of the third biennial selection of the best research works about sacred defense and resistance that was held this morning (Sunday) at the Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense: Today you see how these foreign powers that are creating conflict in Syria, like hungry wolves, fell on the life of a lonely deer in the desert and each one is tearing off a piece of its body. The Zionists control the south of it, another the north, and another the east of the country, and in the middle, the people are wandering and alone facing an uncertain future.

The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC reminded: Everyone saw that the Syrian people were living well as long as we were there; because we were seeking their dignity. We had not gone to annex part of the Syrian territory to our territory, we had not gone to make it a field for our ambitious and extravagant interests; rather, we had gone to prevent the dignity of Muslims from being destroyed.

Major General Salami said: The Zionists can see inside the houses of Damascus with the naked eye; this is truly intolerable. We must stand; as our beloved leader said, Syria will be liberated by the grace of God at the hands of its brilliant and experienced youth.

He emphasized: The Zionists will pay a heavy price and will be buried in this very land; but this requires so much time and great endurance, great effort, will, and glorious faith that the young fighters of the Islamic world have this zeal, motivation, and faith.
